Biography
Anna graduated from IU in 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental and Sustainability Studies and has since taken her experience to work in the marine conservation field. After graduation, Anna worked as a divemaster, guiding and teaching divers about the world under the waves. Afterward, she interned with Coral Restoration Foundation where she learned valuable skills in reef restoration and community outreach. Anna took those skills to the Dominican Republic for her third IU Underwater Science field school before working with the Cap Cana Foundation as a marine conservation intern. As an intern Anna did everything from releasing sea turtles to documenting endangered coral colonies. Now, she works as a SCUBA Instructor for the Academic Diving Program and as a Research Associate for the Center for Underwater Science while she work towards completing a masters certificate in Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
