Biography
William is an undergraduate student majoring in Cognitive Science, minoring in Animal Behavior and working towards completing the Underwater Resource Management Certificate. William participated in the 2023 Sunset Park, 2023 Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary, 2024 Dominican Republic, and the 2024 Great Lakes field projects. He is a second-year research assistant for the Center of Underwater Science. His interests include marine conservation, the development and protection of marine cultural heritage sites and their role as ecosystems, the impact of climate change on marine ecosystems, and coral reef restoration methods. William is currently involved in research and documentation of the 16th century Punta Espada shipwreck and artifacts from the Dominican Republic field project. William is also furthering his scuba skills by taking the Divemaster course.
