Center for Underwater Science Research
The Center for Underwater Science is made up of an interdisciplinary team of researchers and educators commited to the protection of submerged cultural and biological resources. Since the mid 1980's, Indiana University Underwater Science has been at the forefront of underwater cultural and biological resource management in the United States and the Caribbean. The Center for Underwater Science has longstanding, collaborative relationships with a number of national and international agencies, including but not limited to: the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Parks Service, California State Parks, Indiana Department of Natural Resources, Florida State Parks, Lake Michigan Coastal Program, Dominican Republic Ministry of Culture and Ministry of Environment, Armenian National Academy of Science, University of Southampton, the Explorer's Club, the Our World Underwater Scholarship Society, and the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism.
