Anna Noel

Email:
arnoel@iu.edu
Campus:
IU Bloomington
Major:
Environmental and Sustainability Studies; Certificate in Underwater Resource Management

Biography

Anna graduated from IU in 2024 with her bachelor’s degree in Environmental and Sustainability Studies and has since taken her experience to work in the marine conservation field. After graduation Anna worked as a Divemaster, guiding and teaching divers about the world under the waves. Afterward, she interned with Coral Restoration Foundation where she learned valuable skills in reef restoration and community outreach. She took those skills to the Dominican Republic for her third IU Underwater Science field school before working with the Cap Cana Foundation as a marine conservation intern. As an intern, Anna did everything from releasing sea turtles to documenting endangered coral colonies. Now, Anna is back at IU as a Divemaster and research assistant while she works toward a graduate certificate in Geographic Information Sciences (GIS).
