Biography

Anna is a senior at IU studying Environmental Science, Nonprofit Management and Leadership, and Underwater Resource Management. In addition, she is a certified Divemaster after completing the Divemaster program through the IU Academic Diving Program. This is her third year with the Academic Diving Program and her first year as a research assistant with the Center for Underwater Science. In the summer session of 2024, she participated in the IU Underwater Science Dominican Republic field project while taking an interest in the science of monitoring species diversity and coral health. Her interests are in marine conservation, the effects of climate change on underwater ecosystems, marine ecology, and environmental education.
